NHTSA Reopens Comment Period for ICD-10-CM/AIS Mapping Software Request

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is reopening the comment period for a Request for Information (RFI) regarding the development of a mapping software to translate ICD-10-CM discharge diagnoses into Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) pre-dot codes, injury descriptors, and severity scores, originally issued on June 12, 2014, with a new deadline of September 30, 2014.
