NHTSA Updates Driver Distraction Guidelines for In-Vehicle Electronic Devices

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has released revised guidelines to discourage the use of distracting electronic devices in vehicles, clarifying ambiguities and updating the original Phase 1 Guidelines, which were published in 2013. The revised guidelines will be available on the www.regulations.gov website.
