NHTSA Waives Buy America Requirements for Child Passenger Safety Training Dolls

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has granted a waiver to the Idaho Department of Transportation (IDOT) to bypass the Buy America Act requirements for purchasing Child Passenger Safety (CPS) training dolls, as no suitable products are available in the US, allowing the use of Federal highway safety grant funds.
