NCUA Issues Final Regulation to Amend Chartering and Field of Membership Requirements

The NCUA Board is issuing a final regulation to amend the chartering and field of membership requirements for federal credit unions, establishing a threshold requirement to prevent associations from expanding credit union membership and expanding the criteria for the totality of the circumstances test to better ensure compliance.
