NHTSA Amends Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard for Air Brake Systems
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has revised the Federal motor vehicle safety standard for air brake systems, requiring improved stopping distance performance on new truck tractors, in response to petitions for reconsideration of a previous rule.
