Fuji Heavy Industries U.S.A., Inc. Receives Petition for Decision on Noncompliance with FMVSS 205

Fuji Heavy Industries U.S.A., Inc., on behalf of Subaru of America, has determined that certain 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek vehicles manufactured between May 17, 2012, and February 7, 2013, do not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 205, specifically paragraphs S6.1 and S6.2, regarding glazing materials. The company filed a report on January 29, 2013, as required by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
