Honda Granted Exemption for Anti-Theft Device on Civic Vehicles
The US Department of Transportation has approved American Honda Motor Co., Inc.'s petition to exempt the Honda Civic from the Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard, allowing the company to install an anti-theft device as standard equipment instead of marking parts with a unique identifier.
