General Motors Files Petition for Exemption from Noncompliance with FMVSS 110

General Motors has submitted a petition to the US government, claiming that certain model year 2007-2013 trucks and multipurpose vehicles manufactured between June 2006 and December 2012 do not pose a significant safety risk, and therefore do not need to be reported or remedied.
