NHTSA Extends Comment Period for Uniform Procedures for State Highway Safety Grant Programs

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has extended the deadline for public comments on its Interim Final Rule, which outlines new uniform procedures for implementing State highway safety grant programs, until September 30, 2013, following the passage of the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21).
