FDA Withdraws Debarment Order Against Yuri Izurieta

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has withdrawn its 2012 order debarred Yuri Izurieta from importing food into the United States, following the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit's decision to vacate Izurieta's conviction and sentence. This decision reverses a previous FDA order issued on January 25, 2012, which had barred Izurieta from importing food or offering food for importation into the U.S.
