U.S. Flag Compliance With MARPOL Annex VI International Energy Efficiency (IEE) Requirements

The U.S. Coast Guard has announced that it will enforce new International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations requiring U.S. flag ships over 400 gross tons to obtain an International Energy Efficiency Certificate and prepare a Ship Energy Efficiency Management Plan, in order to comply with MARPOL Annex VI International Energy Efficiency (IEE) requirements.
