Notice of Proposed Changes to the National Handbook of Conservation Practices for the Natural Resources Conservation Service

Summary

The Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) is proposing changes to the National Handbook of Conservation Practices, which includes standards for Access Road, Agrichemical Handling Facility, Grade Stabilization Structure, Precision Land Forming, Short Term Storage of Animal Waste and Byproducts, Terraces, Trails and Walkways, Watering Facility, and Water Well. The proposed changes will be available for public review and comment, as required by the Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act of 1996.
