Forest River, Inc. Faces Potential Exemption from Motor Vehicle Safety Requirements for Certain Travel Trailers

Forest River, Inc. has petitioned for an exemption from the notification and remedy requirements of the Motor Vehicle Safety Act due to noncompliance with a specific federal safety standard, which was found to be inconsequential to motor vehicle safety, affecting approximately 2,741 model year 2009-2011 R-Pod travel trailers manufactured between October 27, 2008 and November 30, 2010.
