NCUA Requests Public Comments on Derivatives Transactions for Interest Rate Risk Offset

The NCUA Board is seeking additional public comments on the conditions under which federal credit unions can engage in derivatives transactions to offset interest rate risk, following an earlier Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking issued in 2011.
