The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is seeking public comments on a proposal by the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory (L-DEO) to conduct a marine seismic survey in the southwest Pacific Ocean during January and February 2009, with incidental take of small numbers of marine mammals.
