NMFS Issues Final Rule on Dark Rockfish Management in Alaska

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has implemented Amendments 73 and 77 to the Fishery Management Plans for Groundfish in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands Management Area and the Gulf of Alaska, respectively, removing dark rockfish from both plans and transferring management to the State of Alaska.
