FDA Amends Animal Drug Regulations for Phenylbutazone Tablets and Boluses

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its animal drug regulations to reflect the approval of a supplemental new animal drug application (NADA) filed by First Priority, Inc. The supplemental application allows for a 1-gram oral dosage form of phenylbutazone to be administered as a bolus instead of a tablet.
