NMFS Implements New Monkfish Fishery Management Measures

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is implementing new management measures for the monkfish fishery in the Northeastern United States, as approved in Framework Adjustment 4 to the Monkfish Fishery Management Plan, to replace the control rule with measures consistent with the stock rebuilding goals and Magnuson-Stevens Act requirements.
