EPA Extends Comment Period for Draft Pesticide Active Ingredients and Inerts List

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is extending the public comment period for its draft list of initial pesticide active ingredients and inerts to be considered for screening under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act. The new comment period, which began on September 12, 2007, and will end on December 31, 2007, was initially set to run for 90 days after the June 18, 2007, Federal Register notice, and was later extended by 60 days.
