The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) plans to prepare a Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) to assess the environmental impacts of revising Steller sea lion protection measures in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Islands (BSAI) and Gulf of Alaska (GOA) groundfish fisheries, in compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA).
