The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has extended the public comment period for its proposed rule amending medical event definitions in 10 CFR Part 35 until November 7, 2008, following a request from its Advisory Committee on the Medical Use of Isotopes (ACMUI) and a discussion at the ACMUI's fall meeting on October 27-28, 2008.
