Mitsubishi Motors Granted Exemption for Mitsubishi Outlander Vehicle Line
The US Department of Transportation has granted Mitsubishi Motors R&D of America a full exemption from the Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard for the Mitsubishi Outlander vehicle line, citing the effectiveness of an antitheft device as an alternative to parts-marking requirements.
