Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard; Air Brake Systems Extended for Six Months
The U.S. government has extended the requirement for trailers with antilock brake systems to be equipped with an external antilock malfunction indicator lamp until September 1, 2009, in anticipation of a potential permanent rulemaking decision.
