Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC. Granted Exemption from Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard for SLK Class Line

The US Department of Transportation has approved Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC.'s petition to exempt the SLK Class Line Chassis vehicle line from the Theft Prevention Standard, allowing the company to install an antitheft device as standard equipment instead of marking parts with a unique identifier.
