NHTSA Receives Petition for Importation of Nonconforming Bimota SB6 Motorcycles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has received a petition requesting a decision that 1994-1999 Bimota SB6 motorcycles, which do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, can be imported into the US due to their similarity to US-certified vehicles and their ability to be modified to meet safety standards.
