Commercial Quota Harvested for New Jersey in Summer Flounder Fishery

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has announced that the summer flounder commercial quota available to New Jersey has been fully harvested for the remainder of 2006. As a result, vessels with a commercial Federal fisheries permit for the summer flounder fishery are prohibited from landing summer flounder in New Jersey until additional quota becomes available through a transfer from another state.
