NRC Imposes Fingerprinting and Background Check Requirements for Safeguarded Information Access
Summary
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has issued an order requiring all individuals seeking access to safeguarded information to undergo fingerprinting and a criminal history records check, effective immediately. This order applies to licensees identified in Attachment 1 to Order EA-07-050 and all other individuals seeking or obtaining access to safeguarded information.
