Volkswagen Granted Exemption from Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard for Audi Q5
The US Department of Transportation has approved Volkswagen Group of America's petition to exempt the Audi Q5 vehicle line from the Theft Prevention Standard, allowing the vehicle to be sold without the required anti-theft device starting from model year 2009.
