NHTSA to Host Public Meeting on Safety of Quiet Cars for Blind Pedestrians

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is inviting the public to a meeting to discuss the safety of blind pedestrians encountering quieter vehicles, including hybrids, all-electric vehicles, and quiet internal combustion engine vehicles, and to provide input on related policy issues.
