Lamborghini Gallardo Roadster Importation Petition Received by NHTSA

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has received a petition to allow the importation of 2006 Lamborghini Gallardo roadster passenger cars that were not originally manufactured to meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards. These vehicles are considered eligible for importation because they are substantially similar to U.S.-certified versions and can be altered to meet safety standards.
