NHTSA Releases Draft Environmental Impact Statement for New Fuel Economy Standards
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has released a Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) to analyze the potential environmental impacts of proposed Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) standards for model year 2011-2015 passenger cars and light trucks, as part of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007.
