Mazda Granted Exemption from Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard for Mazda Tribute Vehicles
The US Department of Transportation has approved Mazda Motor Corporation's petition to exempt the Mazda Tribute vehicle line from the vehicle theft prevention standard, effective for model years 2010 and onwards, due to the effectiveness of the antitheft device as a substitute for parts-marking requirements.
