Fuji Heavy Industries U.S.A., Inc. Granted Exemption for Subaru Outback Vehicle Line

The U.S. Department of Transportation has granted Fuji Heavy Industries U.S.A., Inc.'s petition for exemption from the Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard for the Subaru Outback vehicle line, citing that the proposed antitheft device is likely to be as effective as required parts-marking in reducing motor vehicle theft.
