NCUA Extends Comment Period for Mergers, Conversions, and Account Insurance Termination

The NCUA Board has extended the comment period for its proposed rule on mergers, conversions from credit union charter, and account insurance termination by 30 days, following several oral requests, from its initial 60-day period that ended on March 31, 2008.
