Summary
The U.S. government has made the Final Environmental Assessment and a Finding of No Significant Impact for the Enbridge Southern Lights Pipeline Project available. The project, which aims to transport Canadian crude oil from the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin to the Midwest U.S. refineries, was submitted by Enbridge Pipelines (Southern Lights) L.L.C. on April 19, 2007, for a Presidential permit to construct and operate a 20-inch diameter pipeline at the U.S.-Canadian border.
