NMFS Requests Comments on Scripps' Proposal for Low-Energy Seismic Survey in SWPO

Summary

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) is seeking public input on a proposal by the Scripps Institution of Oceanography, a part of the University of California, to conduct a low-energy seismic survey in the southwestern Pacific Ocean (SWPO) and incidentally take small numbers of marine mammals, including cetaceans, during the survey period in January and February 2005.
