BMW Granted Exemption for Carline 1 Vehicle Line
The US Department of Transportation has approved BMW of North America, LLC's petition to exempt the Carline 1 vehicle line from the Vehicle Theft Prevention Standard, citing the effectiveness of an antitheft device as a substitute for parts-marking requirements.
