NHTSA Denies Petitions, Corrects Brake Hose Rule

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has denied several petitions for reconsideration of a 2004 rule updating the Federal motor vehicle safety standard on brake hoses, while also correcting errors and proposing amendments to the rule in response to new issues raised by petitioners.
