NHTSA Allows Importation of Non-Compliant Hatty Trailers

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has made a decision to permit the importation of 1999-2000 Hatty 45 foot double-axle trailers that do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, as they possess safety features that meet or can be adapted to meet these standards.
