NCUA Clarifies Enforcement Authority for Share Insurance Appeals

The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) is issuing a final rule to implement changes to the Federal Credit Union Act, clarifying the process for appeals of share insurance coverage and the authority to terminate share insurance for credit unions that violate certain conditions.
