InterModal Technologies, Inc. Petition for Temporary Exemption Denied by NHTSA

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has denied InterModal Technologies, Inc.'s petition for a temporary exemption from Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 121, Air brake systems, citing the company's failure to demonstrate the safety level of its proposed device and its inability to explain how the exemption would facilitate its development and field evaluation.
