NHTSA Allows Importation of Non-Compliant 2005 Mercedes Benz Gelaendewagen Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has made a decision to permit the importation of 2005 Mercedes Benz Type 463 short wheelbase Gelaendewagen vehicles that do not meet all applicable Federal motor vehicle safety standards, as they can be modified to comply with these regulations.
