Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Low-Speed Vehicles: GVWR Limit Increased to 3,000 Pounds
The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards have been amended to redefine low-speed vehicles, raising the Gross Vehicle Weight Rating limit from less than 1,361 kilograms to vehicles weighing less than 3,000 pounds.
