Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Glazing Materials; Correction

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is correcting a mistake in the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard on glazing materials, which was published in July 2003. The error occurred when the standard referenced an outdated version of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) Recommended Practice J100, instead of the properly incorporated version from June 1995.
