NHTSA Delays Effective Date of Brake Hose Safety Standard

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has delayed the effective date of its final rule on brake hoses, originally set for December 20, 2006, to December 20, 2007, in response to public comments and petitions for reconsideration.
