NHTSA Finalizes Rule for Enhanced Side Impact Crash Test Dummy

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has amended its regulation on anthropomorphic test devices to include specifications and qualification requirements for the ES-2re side impact crash test dummy, designed to improve injury assessment in side impacts and occupant protection.
