NHTSA Updates Regulations for Crash Test Dummies

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has finalized a rule to enhance the specifications and qualification requirements for the 5th percentile adult female crash test dummy, known as the SID-IIs, which will be used in an upcoming Federal motor vehicle safety standard on side impact protection.
