SEC Delegations of Authority to Key Officials

Summary

The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is amending its rules to grant authority to the Director of the Division of Market Regulation and the Director of the Division of Investment Management to consult and, when necessary, to the Director of the Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations to notify and consult on behalf of the SEC. The SEC is also delegating authority to the Office of Compliance Inspections and Examinations to notify and consult on behalf of the Commission regarding certain provisions of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
