General Motors Corporation Seeks to Modify Exemption for Antitheft Device in Chevrolet Lumina and Monte Carlo Vehicle Line
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has granted General Motors Corporation's petition to modify the exemption for the antitheft device in the Chevrolet Lumina and Monte Carlo vehicle line, allowing the device to be placed as standard equipment starting with the 2000 model year.
