Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards; Low Speed Vehicles: Key Changes to Definition of Low-Speed Vehicles
The final rule updates the definition of low-speed vehicles (LSVs) by removing trucks from the excluded class and limiting LSVs to vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of less than 2,500 pounds.
